WA Parliament’s Legislative Assembly passed the Surrogacy Bill on Thursday 18th September 2025.

Pray for the Christians in the Upper House that this Bill will not pass.

According to information from the Australian Christians Party, only four MPs in the lower house voted against the bill. Eleven MPs did not bother coming to vote.

Surrogacy:

• Breaks the bond between birth mother and child
• Commoditises women and children
• Exploits women
• Allows children to be deliberately placed outside the normal married relationship between a man and a woman
• Assigns a price on children and reproduction
• Cheapens the relationship between mother and father and child
• Creates motherless and fatherless children
