#InHerShoes is a campaign by Emily’s Voice, inviting readers and participants to walk in the shoes of women who have experienced unplanned or challenging pregnancy.

A recent campaign was launched about “Jan’s Story”. Jan and her husband Ian were young newlyweds when they experienced their second unplanned pregnancy.

Things were tough. They had no home. They had no money.  Jan had been very unwell when their first baby was born. She and Ian simply had no idea where to go for help through this challenging new set of circumstances.

Ultimately, the couple made a decision they never forgot.
