The Australian Christians Party held their South branch meeting on Saturday January 30th. It was actually a combined affair with their North branch, which accounted for the large number of attendees and the friendly, albeit noisy atmosphere.
Attendees included Len Van Bergel from the Reformed Churches, Graeme Wishart from the Australian Family Council, Madeleine Goiran (of course!), David Kingston and the Honourable Maryka Groenewald, MLC.
There was also a number of past Federal and State candidates.
These (approximately) monthly meetings are designed to keep the election momentum going as the party slowly builds towards the next elections. Whilst identifying the candidates themselves is important, just as critical is the need to keep the funds flowing and the volunteer numbers building if we are to build on our recent election success.
The get together was at Zamia Café in Kings Park, adjacent to the Synergy playground. It is a beautiful area.
